We made a contribution to the Creative Writing Workshop which is a one year education program for students of 6th class in primary school. Authors, graphic designers, publishers, editors teach their field and participant children learn techniques on becoming a creative writer. The program continued for 15 weeks teaching 25 students. 14 authors taught students how to be a creative writer.
We hadZICEV’s (Foundation for Mentally Disabled Childen's Education) classrooms and indoors sport hall painted.
We contributed to our District's Global Grant project that provides 18 eye controlled computers for ALS patients.
OUR CLUB HAS BEEN GRANTING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS IN NEED FOR MANY YEARS. THE STUDENTS' ELIGIBILITY IS CAREFULLY EVALUATED AND THEIR ACADEMIC SUCCESS IS REGULARLY MONITORED. IN THE CURRENT YEAR 86 STUDENTS ARE RECEIVING SCHOLARSHIP FROM OUR CLUB EVERY MONTH. WE GATHERED WITH OUR SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS AT A BRUNCH EVENT. AT THE END OF THE BRUNCH, A CONFERENCE WAS GIVEN BY A SENIOR ROTARIAN ON "ETHICS".
We contributed to Izmir Konak Boğaziçi Primary School's renovation.
We contributed to repair works of Çorum Province Alaca Çopraşık Prirmary School.
We covered yearly stationary needs of Çanakkale province Şehit Çvş. Aycan Özdil Boarding middle school.
We opened literacy and vocational courses together with Maltepe Public Education Center. (Literacy, Cooking, Kindergarten Teaching, Computerized Accounting)
We organized leadership Conference (RYLA) for a group of young people at Burgazada Teachers' House.
We organized a brunch and a conference for our 82 scholarship students.
