We launched an International Photo Contest with four sections that are Color, Monochrome, Nature (as Rotary's 7th focus area), and the last one is; Theme: Rotary Opens Opportunities. In this last section, the participants are requested to visualize with their cameras how one person (Rotarians) reaches out to help to others for his/her health, basic education, access to clean water, economic activity/productivity, and to live in peace. The fund to be raised from this project will be used for the visually handicapped people who are in need of support.
As a result of the meticulous and intensive work carried out by the Youth Services Committee of our club, the procedures of 80 students who were awarded scholarships from our club in the 2020-21 service period have been completed. The payments for the 80 students are paid monthly during nine months starting from September 2020.
As a project of the Community Services - Health Committee of our club, the faulty taps of Maltepe Gülsuyu Primary School have been replaced.
As a project of the Community Services - Health Committee of our club, the exterior repair and painting works of the Maltepe Gülsuyu Family Health Center affiliated to the Ministry of Health have been completed.
As a project of the Community Services - Health Committee of our club, the roof renovation works of Maltepe Gülsuyu Family Health Center affiliated to the Ministry of Health have been completed.
To support the TEMA Foundation’s projects for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats, we donated around 200 saplings to be planted on the new afforestation areas.
